On 12 April 2019, two weeks after the implementation of the programs and courses held in the states of Kaduna and Kwara, the team from the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers at Umm Al-Qura University returned from Nigeria. These programs were preceded by a session in Abuja four months ago, in implementation of the royal decree to establish these courses for the Muslims of Nigeria.
The programs targeted three categories: judges, university professors, and teachers.
This academic program is the first of its kind. It was held on behalf of an official state university, with official federal government universities in the states of Nigeria, in coordination with the Saudi Embassy and the religious attaché in Abuja. This program included:
