Under the supervision, training and follow-up, and with the academic experience of more than 25 years of His Excellency Prof. Ali bin Sa`d Al-Ghamdi, Professor of Measurement and Evaluation and the Former Head of the Department of Physical Education at the College of Education in Umm Al-Qura University, the students of the Evaluation and Tests course in the Department of Physical Education carried out the European fitness test (Euro Fit) on the self-defense sports players in Al-Wehda Sports Club as well as on the students of 15 schools in Makkah Al Mukarramah. As such, a total number of 300 students took the test.

This application is part of the educational requirements of the course, and a step to continually benefit the society through the services of the Department of Physical Education. This effort, whose application has continued for more than 12 years, provides a database on the fitness level of many ages in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It is considered the cornerstone for assessing the level of fitness in the different general education stages in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
