Represented by the Vice-Deanship for Academic Affairs and in cooperation with the Deanship for Library Affairs and OVID Company, the College of Applied Medical Sciences launched a training course about the usage of OVID databases. The event was launched on Tuesday 8th Safar 1438H (8th November 2016) at 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Great Hall (for men) and at the College Council Hall (for women).
Dr. Ayman al Sayegh, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs in the College, drew attention to the importance of such training courses in raising the level of the College's educational process quality, which affected the students' level positively. This was due to the valuable and up-to-date scientific material offered by OVID website in a lot of scientific specializations.
In the same context, Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Ashi, Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences, praised the course for its positive effect on the College members of staff. He pointed out that the journey of development and educational process enhancement never ended. He added that continuous improvement was one of the objectives of the College of Applied Medical Sciences as an internationally accredited college. He confirmed that the College was seeking the renewal of such accreditation in a way that accentuates the College's educational process quality.
