The Awareness Exhibition on the Deviant Thought, Witchcraft and Technological Hazards which was held by the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV) was finalized. The exhibition included awareness material about the Islamic Creed, thought safety, etiquette, ethics, technology means usage best ways, in addition to warning material against witchcraft and sorcery. Moreover, the exhibition had continued for three days at the Male Students Departments, whereas it had been for only two days at the Female Students Department where it included topics about the importance of Hijab, blackmail hazards and safety of thought.
During the event, Dr. Ahmed Bin Bakr Khasheem, the Vice-Dean for Preparatory Year, was honored for his remarkable participation in and support for the sophisticated and well-organized appearance of the event.
In the same context, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamidi’s, Dean of the Preparatory Year, noted that such activities were given full support by The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas. He also confirmed that such programs played an effective role in the awareness of our dear students against deviant thought and its aftermaths.
In turn, Dr. Ahmed Bin Bakr Khasheem, the Vice-Dean for Preparatory Year, accentuated the significance of such programs, activities and events which help our dear male and female students stay away from deviant thoughts that became common via social media. He also appreciated the efforts exerted by the General Presidency for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.
