The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, represented by the Vice Deanship of the College for Training and Community Service, held a training course at Khuqair hall on Wednesday, 20 Rajab, 1440 A.H., at 10: 00  a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This course was held under the title, 'Secrets of Success of Voluntary Work', and was offered by Her Excellency Dr. Nour Qarout.

The trainer started the course by thanking Her Excellency Dr. Maha Al-Utaibi, the Vice Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies for Training and Community Service, for giving her the opportunity to participate in this initiative. She then pointed out to the attendants the themes of the course: definition of voluntary work, voluntary benefits, and voluntary departments). There was a rich interaction between the trainer and the trainees. Dr. Nour talked about the first aspect that should be achieved, which is the religious aspect. This means that one should perform his basic religious duties before doing the voluntary acts. She pointed out that voluntary work is not confined to religious matters only; it covers several branches in serving the community.

At the end of the course, the Vice Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies for Training and Community Service praised the trainer and motivated her to continue with her distinguished services, wishing her more success. A certificate of thanks and appreciation was given to the trainer for her cooperation with the college and for her presenting this course.
