The Department of Physical Education has launched an e-learning transformation initiative for all educational courses programs as a strategic goal for the department during the coming period. The department has already begun completing the file of e-courses for the active educational plans as a first, preliminary stage, which will be completed by the end of the second semester, 1440 A.H. 

The council of the department, headed by Dr. Yusuf bin Atiyyah Al-Thubaiti, in its session no. 18, on 29 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., recommended that by the year 2020, all the tools of Umm Al-Qura e-learning system at the Department of Physical Education should be in complete operation.
