Training Course in the Media Club at the Department of Mass Communication Entitled ‘How to be a Distinguished Journalist’

On Sunday, 3 March at 11:30 a.m., the Media Club of the Department of Mass Communication at the UQU College of Social Sciences held a training course entitled ،"How to be a Distinguished Journalist." It was presented by department faculty member, Dr. Ahmad Mansour Haibah.

This course comes within the framework of the weekly scientific and cultural movement in the department, under the special patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Adnan Al-Maghamsi Al-Harbi, and His Excellency the Head of the Department, Dr. Salim Ali Urijah.

His Excellency spoke about the advantages of journalism, its importance, the mistakes of some journalists, how they are handled, and what conditions must be present in the distinguished journalist. He also pointed out the time difference between the paper and electronic press and the renaissance that is sweeping the media at present.

Everyone participated with a series of discussions, starting with a number of academic, and then students, who raised the subject, and achieved the overall objective of this course.
