The College of Applied Medical Sciences Hosts Dr. Taghrid Al-Sarraj in a Dialogue Session

On Wednesday, 29 Rajab 1440 A.H., the College of Applied Medical Sciences hosted one of the icons of success, Dr. Taghrid Al-Sarraj. She is an Education and Entrepreneurship Advisor, the first Saudi woman to hold the position of Vice President of Entrepreneurship, and a researcher at the University of Berkeley, California. She is also a writer in the Saudi 'Arab News' newspaper. Dr. Taghrid was present as a guest in an interesting dialogue session entitled, "My Experience on the Road of Success and Challenges in the Path of Knowledge". The event was held in King Abdul-Aziz Historical Support Hall.

The session aimed at sharing some experiences of success and excellence to the students, and opened the horizons of ambition by the transfer and exchange of experiences.

Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ramia Sindi, led the dialogue with the session's guest. At first, Dr. Taghrid briefed the audience about the beginning of her academic career, and the knowledge and experience she attained from travelling to several countries for further education and gaining more knowledge about various sciences. She also shared her experience and research in the field of entrepreneurship, acquiring new languages, learning about other cultures, focusing on practical life skills and experiences gained and preparing oneself for working before graduation.

The dialogue session was attended by a number of female students, academics, and staff members, and was appreciated by all the audience. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ramia Sindi presented the guest with a special commemorative plaque as a gesture of thanks for her attendance.
