Description of activity

Under the auspices of the Preparatory Year Deanship and the supervision of Preparatory Year Vice-Deanship

Academic counselor Dr. Hanaa Nada announced a series of human development programs to develop the skills of females students, starting with a training course on how to groom leaders.

The meeting started with verses from the Holy Quran.

Dr. Nada started by talking about the greatest leader of humanity with a message and a purpose.

She then referred to psychologists and development scholars’ definition of leadership and discussed the distinguishing characteristics of a successful leader.

Fatma Al-Athiqi then delivered a speech on examples of successful leaderships in history, especially the leadership of Al-Faruq Umar ibn al-Khattab.

Then it was time for a “thank-you” speech about the model of a successful leader who had largely contributed to the stability and the success of the Preparatory Year in Al-Qunfudah and Al-Leith branches Dr. Wahib Dakhil Al-Harbi.

Everyone talked about the characteristics of a successful leader as embodied in Al-Harbi’s effective character and personality, expressing their gratitude to him and praying that Allah reward him for his work.

There was then a student competition and gifts were handed over.

The day was marked by great interaction between the students and the team. Everybody then ate together.
