A delegate from the academic staff at the Department of Environmental Engineering in Al-Leith and a number of graduation project students visited the desalination plant in Al-Leith governorate. The delegate discussed, with those in charge at the plant, certain topics related to the graduation research: 'Studying and Assessing the Environmental Effects for Using Reverse Osmosis Technology at Al-Leith Desalination Plant as an Alternative for the Current Evaporation Technology'.
The visit served as an effective link between what the students study in the university and what is applied in the field. This activity gained the admiration of the academic staff members, students and officials.
