The College of Computer and Information Systems has launched the 'Training Trainers Initiative' for Academic Staff and Employees at Al-Abdiyyah and Al-Zahir. The initiative includes male and female colleagues from all computer and information systems colleges at Umm Al-Qura University.
This initiative was launched in cooperation with 7 technical companies that offer international professional certification to trainers in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah province.
The first session offers training for four professional certificates (Oracle, CISCO, HP, and Dell-EMC).
Those completing the training initiative will then conduct free training sessions for students of Umm Al-Qura University to enable them to gain professional accreditation. This widens students' experience and skills, thus increasing their employment opportunities.
