The Vice Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research will organize a training course on "Statistical analysis using SPSS application," to be presented by the Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Dr. Nazar Emarah Al-Raisi.

Date: Wednesdays 13 and 20 February 2019 A.C. at 9:00 a.m.

Duration: Two days (3 hours per day)

The main objective of this training course: This course aims to develop and hone the skills and expertise of the participants in quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis using the "SPSS" program.

Target Group:

1. Postgraduate students in the field of economic science (MA and PhD levels).
2. Academic Staff.

Course Content: (main themes of the course and its scientific content)

• First Day: Introduction - Program definition (introducing the variables and basic data entry skills, and skills for dealing with data entry and analyzing descriptive data).
• Second Day: Measures of Central Tendency - Measures of Dispersion - Correlation Analysis - Laboratory tests - Practical applications
• Training Requirements: Laptop.
