The Department of Physical Education Council, during its 14th session on 1 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H., under the chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Yusuf bin Atiyyah Al-Thubaiti, reviewed the plans of the academic building project of the Physical Education Department at Umm Al-Qura University. His Excellency the Head of the Department presented a detailed explanation of the special facilities of the department according to the project maps drawn up by the Department of Design at the General Department of Projects in the university. This review is due to the current needs of the department, and part of the continuous development to meet the needs of the educational process and the beginning of physical education programs for female students.

As part of its recommendations, the council stressed the importance of activating the facilities of the Physical Education Department, which is considered one of the main areas needing attention in order to achieve the goals of the department, college, and university in the sports field in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The council concluded by thanking His Excellency the Dean of the College of Education, and His Excellency the President of the University for their constant support for the activities and needs of the Department of Physical Education in order to do good for our dear country.
