The Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Adnan bin Nuri Al-Harbi, launched the first consultative meeting of the female academic staff and others holding similar positions in the college, on Sunday, 28 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., at 10:30 a.m. The meeting was transmitted via CCTV from the college's meeting hall in Al-Abdiyyah to Al-Jafali Hall (2) at the College of Social Sciences, females section, in Al-Zahir.
The meeting was attended by the college vice dean, the college vice dean for educational affairs, the college vice dean for postgraduate studies and scientific research, the vice dean of the College of Social Sciences, the deputy heads of the departments, a number of academic staff and those occupying similar positions in each department. The College Dean welcomed the female audience, and introduced the college vice deans accompanying him. He then confirmed that the meeting was set to touch upon the needs of the female section of the college, in all the fields that were previously set as main themes for this meeting, as follows:
The meeting discussed all the above mentioned themes, which were divided into more topics specific to each department. The discussion aimed at looking forward toward a new and ambitious vision for the future and whatever serves the process of the educational process in our prestigious university.
Appropriate recommendations have been taken regarding the topics that were discussed, through consensus and consultation. The meeting ended at 12:20 p.m.
