The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies announces they will start receiving applications for transfer to Umm Al-Qura University from other universities, as well as the internal transfer from one college to another or from one major to another, within the university. The applications will be accepted from Sunday, 21 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 27 January 2019 A.C., until the end of the working day on Thursday, 7 Rajab, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 14 March, 2019 A.C. Note that the application for (external or internal) transfer has to include a recommendation from the Council of the Department as well as the College to which the applicant wishes to transfer in order to be accepted. The application shall also be subject to the approval of the Council of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies.
Steps to transfer to Umm Al-Qura University from another university:
- Fill in the DGS-305/1 form, make sure that all the conditions mentioned in the form are met, and attach all the required documents.
- Send the form with the required attachments to the email [email protected], and write in the e-mail subject field, "Application for transfer to Umm Al-Qura University from the University of ......... ".
Steps for internal transfer from one college to another or from one major to another, within the university:
- Fill in the DGS-305/2 form, make sure that all the conditions mentioned in the form are met, and attach all required documents.
- Send the form with the required attachments to the email [email protected], and write in the e-mail subject field, "Application for transfer from the major of ........ to the major of ..... ".
If the competent councils approve the transfer application, the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies will contact the applicant to complete the application process.
