Under the auspices and supervision of His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrafi, the Dean of the College of Education, and the participation of His Excellency Dr. Mardi bin Gharmullah Al-Zahrani, Vice-Dean of the College, and His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Idris Al-Bakri, the Vice-Dean of the College for Academic Affairs, the training program entitled "Preparing the Teacher Student for the Educational Field" was launched today, Sunday 7 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., at 8 p.m., in the Grand Hall at the College of Education. The training program will last for three days.
Approximately 175 students participated in the program in the fields of Physical Education, Art Education, and Special Education.
Dr. Awad bin Salih Al-Malki, the Head of the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods, pointed out that the aim of this program is to prepare student teachers for the educational field by providing trainees with the necessary expertise to help them succeed in performing their mission in the educational field and keep abreast of latest developments in the educational process. It also aims to enable them to develop their teaching competencies and skills necessary to contribute to the rise of the nation and the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.
