The Secretariat of the Academic Council has the pleasure to announce to the academic staff that his Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University has approved their appointments as assistant professors at the eighth session of the Academic Council for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. The Secretariat of the Academic Council wishes them much success and progress in their scientific research and supplicates to Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to encompass them with His care and embrace them with His protection to achieve all their hopes and accomplish their goals.

Names of academic staff and their appointments:

1. Appointment of the lecturer Ahmad bin Abdur-Rahman Al-Sadiq Al-Qaydi to assistant professor at the Department of Economy, College of Islamic Economics and Finance.
2. Appointment of the lecturer Muhannad bin Subaih Muhammad Al-Qadah to assistant professor at the Department of Computer Sciences, College of Computer and Information Systems.
3. Appointment of the lecturer Salih bin Muhammad Salih Baqadir to assistant professor at Accounting Department, College of Business Administration.
4. Appointment of the lecturer Ala' bin Abdulalh Sadiq Abu Labn to assistant professor at the Department of the Qur'an and Sunnah, College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
5. Appointment of the teaching assistant Ala' bint Hisham Abdullah Zaini Filmban to assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Medicine.
6. Appointment of the teaching assistant Al-`Unud bin Sa`id Muhammad Al-Qarni to assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Pharmacy.
7. Appointment of the teaching assistant Samar bint Nabil Ahmad Ikram to assistant professor at the Department of Medical Genetics, College of Medicine.

In addition to these decisions, the Secretariat of the Academic Council made the suitable recommendations for the other topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session.
