The Advisory Committee of the Deanship of Admission and Registration Holds First Meeting

With the support of the Dean of Admission and Registration, Prof. Hashim bin Muhammad Al-Samadani, the Advisory Committee of the Deanship, Female Section, held its first meeting on Wednesday Rabi` Al-Thani 5, 1440 A.H., at 11:00 a.m., in the meeting hall at Al-Zahir campus.  
 
The head of the committee, Dr. Tahani bin Muhammad Al-Subait, welcomed the noble advisors and valued their boundless efforts in serving the university through their different administrative posts, which led to their committee membership nominations. 
 
The Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fatimah bint Ali Al-Ghamdi, made a presentation about the objectives and achievements of the deanship over the last three years. The executive plan of the deanship for the current year was then presented.

 

The Vice Dean of Admission and Registration for Registration Affairs, Dr. Tahani Al-Subait, said the committee aims to enable experts and specialists to make decisions that contribute to developing and improving the services provided by the Deanship of Admission and Registration. She explained that the committee would discuss a number of issues that are in the interest of the students by improving the status quo or designing creative and quality initiatives. She stressed the keenness of the deanship to address academic failure problems and improve academic counseling to attract talented students. She added that the committee would also discuss the setting of its rules and regulations. 
 


The advisory committee of the Deanship of Admission and Registration is the first of its type to be formed under the guidance of the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, and the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Abdulaziz Surouji, due to their firm belief in the importance of improving the academic services provided for students.
