In the presence of His Excellency the Dean of the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, Dr. Hasan Bukhari; and His Excellency the Vice-Dean of the Institute for Scientific Research and Courses, Dr. Ahmad Al-Darubi, the closing ceremony of the training course entitled 'Skills of Scientific Linguistic Research' was held on Thursday, 28 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The ceremony was held at the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers in collaboration with King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Center for Arabic Language for the academic staff of Tanzanian universities.
The ceremony started with a Qur'anic recital by Mr. Khalil Arif, followed by speech from the Tanzanian delegation delivered by Dr. Khamis Mubayi`, who thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Center for Arabic Language, and Umm Al-Qura University.
Later, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hasan Bukhari, delivered the closing speech in which he tackled the efforts exerted by the Kingdom to serve the Muslim Nation. He extended thanks to His Excellency the UQU President and the vice-presidents for their support, care, and attention, and to King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Center for Arabic Language, represented by its Director Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, and Dr. Badr Al-Jabr.
At the end of the ceremony, the course participants and presenters received certificates and gifts.
