A scientific course entitled "Skills of Scientific Linguistic Research" was held for academic staff of the Tanzanian universities from 24-28 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. at the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, in collaboration with the King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Center for Arabic Language.
The course began with a speech delivered by His Excellency the Dean of the Institute, Sheikh Hasan Bukhari, who welcomed the attendees and conveyed greetings from His Excellency the UQU President and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Center for Arabic Language.
The course was presented by a team of the institute's specializing professors under the supervision of the Vice-Dean of Scientific Research and Courses, Dr. Ahmad Al-Rubi.
The Tanzanian delegation visited the Holy Haram in Makkah and reviewed the huge projects provided by the Kingdom to serve the pilgrims and Mu`tamirs.
They also visited Al-Haram Library and listened to a detailed explanation of the library's departments, contents, and the services it offers to readers and researchers.
