By virtue of Allah's Grace and Facilitation, a delegation of the academic staff and students from the College of Engineering and College of Computer Sciences in Al-Leith visited Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries at its headquarters at King Abdulaziz International Airport on Thursday, 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.

The delegation had a tour of the company's facilities, got invaluable information, and became acquainted with the achievements of Saudi youth in the field of engineering and manufacturing of airplanes.

The visit was a useful link between what students study at college and what is applied in the field in advanced industry sectors. They also discussed the available opportunities for students in the summer training course and the work opportunities within the company.

Students, by Allah's praise, came out from this visit with a wonderful impression. They were happy with what they saw, which is in line with the slogan of his Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, "Making Students Happy."

This visit is part of the scientific visits program that includes many visits to factories and companies, a matter that maximizes benefits to the students and to the university.
