His Excellency Dr. Jabir Sa`id Al-Zahrani, Dean of Colleges of Engineering and Computer Science, gave a visual presentation for the initiative launched by Umm Al-Qura University as part of the Leading Academic Transformation Program submitted to the senior staff members of Saudi Universities. It was entitled "UQU in the Service of Allah's Guests." The activities included the participation of the initiative team, which comprised ten academics. The initiative obtained the approval and commendation of Dr. Sa`d Al-Mas`udi, Head of the Leading Academic Transformation Program, because of its quality and goal of improving Hajj and Umrah services.

The UQU initiative also received praise from Dr. Hani ibn Uthman Ghazi, UQU Vice-President for Development and Entrepreneurship and member of the Judging Expert Committee, for its goal of generating new prospects and opportunities for the university in the fields of education, technology, and financial development, which would contribute to better services for Allah's Guests. He emphasized the social responsibility of the university to improve the services given to all Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. He also appreciated the support and guidance of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah ibn Omar Bafail, the UQU President, in their efforts to elevate the development and knowledge-acquisition environment and position UQU among leading universities.

The Initiatives' Judging and Evaluation Expert Committee includes Umm Al-Qura University, King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah University, and Taif University.
