In honor of the Dean of the University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala Al-Amudi, and her honorable vice-deans, the Curricula and Teaching Methodology Department at the College of Education (female section) held an enriching scientific meeting on 'Curricula Quality: From Building to Evaluation in Light of Vision 2030'. This meeting was prepared by the Ph.D. female students under the supervision of Dr. Samyah bint Sadaqah Maddah, Associate Professor of Curricula and Mathematics Teaching Methodology at the College of Education.
After the opening of the meeting, Dr. Samyah Maddah delivered a speech in which she asserted the importance of quality system, as it represents an international system for excellence, innovation, and perfection. She also said that quality standards should be applied to the preparation, building, and evaluation of curricula in light of the Saudi Vision 2030. After the speech, leading models of curricula building and evaluation were reviewed, followed by a video about curricula quality: from building to evaluation, and a presentation on the national program for building and evaluating curricula in light of the Saudi Vision 2030. Afterwards, a presentation was given on the evaluator's professional license. Dr. Samah Maddah concluded the activities of the Curricula Quality Program by honoring all the female students participating in the program, and giving them certificates of appreciation. She also thanked them and all the attendees for this outstanding scientific meeting.
