Today, Tuesday 5 of Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 13 November, 2018 A.C., a delegate from the Deanship of Scientific Research participated in the first meeting to develop research and studies in the field of integrity protection and corruption combat. The meeting was organized by the National Anti-Corruption Commission in Riyadh, and chaired by Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Ghalib bin Ibrahim Al-Ahdal, the Dean of the Scientific Research. In its first session, the meeting tackled research initiatives in the field of integrity protection and corruption combat. The second session dealt with visions and research trends to promote integrity and fight corruption.
His excellence the Dean of Scientific Research stated that such forums and participation in them have paramount importance and huge effects on Saudi universities, as they activate their roles in developing studies and research in the field of combating corruption and adhering to the terms of research integrity. He added that Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, was and still adheres to effective participation in such meetings, enriching them with dialogues and debates in the service of the nation.
Dr. Al-Ahdal concluded with thanking Prof. Abdullah Bafail, the UQU President, and Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, the UQU Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, for their unlimited support to the Deanship in all fields.
