The Arabic Language Department in Jamoum organized a scholarly seminar at 10:00 am. on Tuesday, 14 Safar, 1440 AH., corresponding to 23 October, 2018 A.C. This seminar was entitled, "The importance of the Arabic language in understanding the Qur'anic text", and was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Iwis, a faculty member at the Department. He tackled the importance of the Arabic language in understanding the Qur'anic text, and the need to preserve this great language (the language of the Qur'an and Sunnah). It was a valuable seminar that was attended by His Excellency the Head of the Department, a number of academic staff, and most of the Department's students.
