The Dean of the Arabic Language Institute for Non-Arabic Speakers and the Chairman of the Charity Fund for Scholarship Student Support in Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Hasan Bukhary, held a workshop for the strategic development and establishment of the Fund along with one of the offices specialized in administrative consultations, in the presence of the deputies of the Institute and the members of the board of the Fund.

In the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Institute and the Chairman of the Charity Fund for Scholarship Student Support, Dr. Hasan Bukhary, welcomed the members of the Fund’s board and the participants in the workshop to discuss strategic plans during the coming days for the work of the Fund. This was done under the umbrella of an institutional body that contributes to reinforcing the scholarships offered for the people of the Muslim nation to learn Arabic, its sciences, and Shari`ah.

He stated that the Arabic Language Institute for Non-Native Speakers enjoys the support and attention of the guided leadership–may Allah safeguard them–in offering its qualifying and training mission for the scholarship students to become competent teachers of Arabic and Shari`ah. He pointed out that the Charity Fund for Scholarship Student Support contributes to the development of scholarship programs as well as interest in such programs in different parts of the Islamic world.

Dr. Hasan Bukhary highly praised the support and directives of His Excellency the UQU President, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, for the activities and programs of the institute. This will disseminate Arabic and empower its teaching methods and quality of performance by specialized cadres in Arabic sciences through the use of effective communication with other cultures. He appreciated the efforts of the participants in the workshop and wished them all success.
