The Physics Department presented a scientific lecture on "the applications of graphene on the materials used for solar cells", which was delivered by His Excellency Dr. `Abdul-Majid Omar Taimomy, Assistant Professor of Solid-State Physics at the Department. The lecture was delivered on Tuesday, 14 Safar, 1440 A.H., during which he outlined the importance of graphene, its applications, and the methods of its preparation. His Excellency then presented scientific studies on the use of graphene in solar cells. 

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Salih Al-Luqmany, extended his thanks and appreciation to Dr. `Abdul-Majid Taimomy and the attending professors and students.
