Under the patronage of Dr. Tawfiq bin Ali Al-Sharif, dean of the University College in Jamoum, the College organized the celebration of the 88th National Day; it is the precious occasion for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people. The ceremony was held in the college yard, in the presence of the college’s vice-deans, department heads, faculty members and students.
The celebration kicked off with a welcoming speech, followed by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. After that, the dean of the college delivered a speech congratulating King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on this precious national occasion. He also expressed the pride of the nation's people for the development and prosperity of our country in all areas of development. He also mentioned that Saudi Arabia has become one of the advanced countries thanks to Allah and then the support and leadership of the kings of this benevolent country. He praised the unlimited support that the Saudi education sector receives from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as this has made Saudi youth one of the most important pillars of the Kingdom vision 2030. Thereafter, a national poem was delivered, and it was welcomed by all the audience, through which the poet expressed his love and pride of the country leadership and people, and praised the firmness and determination of King Salman - may Allah protect him.
Dr. Abdul-Majid bin Fahd Al-Rifai, vice-dean of the College for Academic Affairs, then, announced the names of the students who were academically distinguished at the college level in the academic departments. They were honored by the Dean of the College, in the presence of the college’s vice-deans, department heads, faculty members and students. At the end of the ceremony, the organizers and the attendees were thanked. Then, all attendees had a meal prepared on this occasion.
