Under the patronage of its Dean, Dr. Hashem bin Ahmad As-Samadany, and in collaboration with the Deanship of Information Technology, the Deanship of Admission and Registration organized the sixth Admission Workshop. The event was held on Tuesday, 28th Ramadan 1439H at the IT Deanship’s Conference Room in Al-Aziziyah.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Atef Al-Hujaily (Vice-Dean of IT for E-Transactions), Eng. Ashraf Asfour (Head of the Applications Department) and Eng. Hussein Al-Zahrany. In addition, the Deanship of Admission and Registration was represented by Dr. Khaled Al-Thaqafy (Vice-Dean), Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidy (Vice-Dean in Al-Qunfudha), as well as the Admission Department team. Moreover, and via the network communication, Dr. Fatima Al-Ghamdi, Vice-Dean of Admission and Registration, was present along with the Admission and Public Relations Departments teams at the Girls Section.
The main themes of the workshop included the actual trial of the Admission Portal in order to get ready for the second admission stage. Such stage comprised the various regular student categories and internal scholarships.
In turn, Dr. Hashem As-Samadany pointed out to the significance of such actual trial for quality enhancement. He added that it was also important as it achieved the objectives of the Admission and Registration Deanship. Such objectives included the facilitation of all procedures via the intelligent use of IT in the new students’ admission process.
