Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bahussein Bafil, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), assigned Dr. Abdurrahman bin Hussien bin Abdurrahman Abulkhayour as Dean of the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage.

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Bafil hailed the intensive efforts exerted by Prof. Dr. Adnan bin Muhammad Fayez Al-Harithy Al-Sharif, the Former Dean, during his time in office. He also pointed out that he appreciated his blessed and bright achievements that had the greatest impact on the advancement of UQU. He added that this was due to the guidance of Allah, the Almighty, in the first place, and the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah save him!

Simultaneously, Prof. Dr. Bafil congratulated Dr. Abulkhayour, stressing the seriousness, diligence and hard work on the development of the work and efforts by the former dean. He also wished him guidance and success.

In turn, Dr. Abulkhayour appreciated Prof. Dr. Bafil’s trust in him with such position. In addition, he confirmed that with the guidance of Allah he would meet the expectations of UQU President. Moreover, he hailed the efforts of the former dean, pointing out that he would work to develop them according to the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan 2020.
