The Colleges of Engineering and Computers in Al-Qunfudha held the concluding ceremony of their work and programs for the academic year 1438-1439H. This was in the presence and under the supervision of Dr. Jabir Saeed Al-Zahrany (the Dean), Dr. Ulwy Ba-Mahdy (Vice-Dean of the Engineering College), Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrany (Vice-Dean of the Computers College), as well as the two colleges’ department heads. The event also witnessed the attendance of Dr. Yaseen Abdullah Al-Zubaidy, Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudha, as a guest of honor.

The ceremony started with a Quranic recitation followed by a documentary material and a photographic report highlighting the achievements of the Colleges and the development that kept pace with the Saudi Vision 2030. Then, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrany gave a speech to welcome Dr. Yaseen Al-Zubaidy and the Colleges’ present students, parents, as well as the academic, administrative and technical staff. Moreover, he demonstrated the main achievements of the academic year, such as the development of, and addition to, the academic, administrative and technical departments. He also hailed the excellent performance of work during this year and the efforts exerted by the Colleges’ affiliates on both the academic and administrative sides.  

On the other hand, the ceremony included the distribution of memorial shields and souvenirs among Dr. Yaseen Al-Zubaidy, Dr. Ulwy Ba-Mahdy, Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrany, as well as the department heads. In addition, distinguished staff members and Mr. Mahdy Kuleiby, Director at the Two Colleges, were honored. Moreover, certificates of appreciation were distributed among the Colleges’ distinguished academic, administrative and technical staff, students, as well as the founding members of the student club at the College of Engineering.

At the end of the ceremony, group photos were taken and friendly conversations were exchanged. In addition, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrany thanked everyone for attendance and wished them guidance and success in their academic and practical lives.
