The Vice-Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by

the Scientific Board Secretariat, is pleased to announce that the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) has approved the academic promotions of teaching staff members in the nineteenth session of the board. May Allah preserve them, and may they achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Relevant recommendations were made for the aforementioned topics included in the board’s agenda.

* The Scientific Board Secretariat calls on the teaching staff members mentioned below to refer to it by the end of the next week to get the promoting certificates.

The promoted teaching staff members are as follows:

1- Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Ahmed Aishy, the Associate Professor at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, was promoted to a Professor.

2- Dr. Abdul Majeed bin Saeed ali Al-Ghamdy , the Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanic Engineering, the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, was promoted to a Professor.

3- Dr. Abdul Wahab bin Ayed Al-Ahmady, the Associate Professor at the Department of Shari'ah, the College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies, was promoted to a Professor.

4- Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Khalil Allaf, the Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Genetics at the College of Medicine, was promoted to a Professor.

5- Dr. Ismail bin Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Theqafy, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

6- Dr. Badr bin Ibrahim Al-Ghaith, the Assistant Professor at the the Department of Aqidah (Creed of Islam) at the the College of D'awa and Fundamentals of Religion, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

7- Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Khalify, the Assistant Professor at the the Department of Hesbah, the Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

8- Dr. Ra’ed bin Khalaf Al-Assemy, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Shari'ah, the College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

9- Dr. Essam bin Hashem Al-Jaafary, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Islamic Economy at the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

10- Dr. Majdy bin Mohamed Mahmoud Bakhetan, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the College of Pharmacy, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

11- Dr. Mohanad bin Khaled Radwan Al-Shaboul, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

12- Dr. Asmaa bint Ali Mohamed Fadl, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Islamic and Comparative Education at the College of Education, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

13- Dr. Farida bint Moahmed Al-Ghamedy, the Assistant Professor at the the Department of Quran and Sunnah at the College of D'awa and Fundamentals of Religion, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

14- Dr. Najat bint Outaiq Abdullah Al-Ghamedy, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the College of Applied Sciences, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

15- Dr. Zakiah bint Saleh Saleh Al-Maleky, the Assistant Professor at the Department of  Curriculum and Teaching Methods at the College of Education, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

16- Dr. Aliaa bint Ali Mohamed Mokhtar, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Housing and Home Management at the College of Designs, was promoted to a Associate Professor.

17- Dr. Shahera bint Abdul Hady Ibrahim  Abdul Hady, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Fashion at the College of Designs, was promoted to a Associate Professor.
