Colleges of Engineering and Computer Participate in (Tomouh 7th Forum in Al-Qunfudhah

On behalf of the Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computer, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrani, the Vice Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Oloui Bamahdi, participated in “Tomouh’s seventh forum to sponsor excellent students” which is held by the Education Administration in Al-Qunfudhah at Sheikh Hassan Al-Faqih hall. He delivered a message in which he spoke about the colleges of Engineering and Computer as well as their departments. The forum was under the sponsorship of the governor of Qunfudhah, Mr. Fada Al-Baqmi, in the presence of the Education Administrator in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Mohamed Al-Zahmy, as well as the police chief and several Deans of colleges, in addition to retired dean Ali Ahmed Al-Kanani, the supporter of the award of  Excellence and Positive Behavior at schools.

The foruum started with a welcoming message by the Head of the Department of Direction and Guidance, Mr. Ahmed Al-Khamisy, in which he welcomed guests and participants. Then the topics of the forum were addressed, led by the supervisor of Direction and Guidance, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Youssef Al-Montashari. The Education Administrator and the Deans of the University, Medicine, Engineering and Computer, and Technology Colleges all took part, in addition to Mr. Al-Kanani, and the head of the Direction and Guidance in Al-Qunfudhah Education Administration. Speakers in the forum talked about the correct ways of choosing university specialties based on tendencies and capabilities of students. It also introduced them to the university’s colleges and the specialties available for secondary level students who will be graduating this year.

Then the governor of Al-Qunfudhah delivered a message in which he congratulated the administration for its consecutive successes, and then he congratulated excellent and distinguished students.

As the forum came to a close, the governor honored students who won the award of Excellence and Positive Behavior. He also honored the manager of education offices, principals and guides of winning schools, supervisors of guidance, as well as some press agencies.
