On the World Arabic Language Day (WALD), celebrated on December 18^th, that corresponds this year to Friday Rabi' Al-awwal 7, 1437 Hijri, the Arabic Language Institute in Umm Al-Qura University held a celebration for honoring outstanding students on the academic and attitudinal levels.

The celebration was sponsored by the University President and in honor of the Arabic Language Institute Dean, Dr. Adel bin Ahmed Bana’ma, and was attended by the Institute Deputy Dean, Dr. Hassan Bokhary; Teachers Preparation Department Head, Dr. Saleh bin Hassan Al Mabouth; and the Language Teaching Department Head, Dr. Aref Al-Osaymi.

The event was organized to honor top students of the Institute in appreciation of their efforts and in celebration of WALD.
