Prof. Dr. Ibtisam bint Balqasem Al-Qarny, Vice-Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for Educational Affairs and Development, held an honoring ceremony for the 49 female students of the College who participated in the Ninth UQU Students Scientific Forum. The event was held on Sunday, 16th Jumada II 1439H, at the College’s Library.
The ceremony started with a Qur’anic recitation followed by poetic lines about the Land of Purity recited by Student/ Noura Al-Mawjan. Then, students who contributed to the distinction of the College in the Forum were honored. This was followed by kinetic competitions presented by Student/ Khawla Bani Mustafa. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Al-Qarny honored Dr. Nawal bint Omar Badghish, Shaira College Coordinator in the Forum, and Prof. Dr. Noura bint Musallam Al-Mahmady. Finally, the event ended with wishing that peace and blessings would be upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
