The Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computer in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrani, met with the Head of the Talents Center in Al-Qunfudhah Education Administration, Mr. Hassan Ahmed Al-Faqih, accompanied by the manager of the center, Mr. Yahia Khidr Al-Mathami, on Tuesday 11 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH. From the College of Enginnering, the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Oulwi Bamahdi, attended the meeting, in addition to the Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, Dr. Obaid Al-Hadarity, and the Head of the Construction Engineering, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Maraia, and Eng. Ahmed Azib. From the College of Computer, the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah AL-Zahrani, also attended the meeting.
The meeting started with the Dean welcoming the guests, expressing his happiness and optimism as well as the readiness of the college to cooperate with the administration of the center in the fields of engineering and computer to benefit students, who will become the leaders of the future and the pillars of the country.
Mr. Al-Faqih talked about the center and the attention it gives to talented and distinguished students in order to enhance their scientific skills as well as qualify them. He also talked about the center’s programs and initiatives as well as the possibility of future cooperation with the two colleges. Mr. Yahia Al-Mathami took part in the meeting, as he spoke about the attention given by the center to the patents of talented students.
The Vice Dean of the College of Computer, Dr. Abdullahh Al-Zahrani, made some suggestions that aim to facilitate cooperation between the two entities, as well as provide the suitable training programs for talented students. The Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Maraia, gave an overview of the two departments of Construction and industrial engineering. The Dean, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrani, talked about the current and future training programs of the two colleges. He also explained the possibility of using them with talented students and applying them on their cases.
As the meeting came to a close, participants expressed their happiness with the work and effort made to spread knowledge and qualify students for the labor market and taking part in building and developing their country.
