As part of the activities of the Cultural Committee of the Deanship of University Studies, a celebration day was held for the protection of the vegetation cover in most countries of the world titled "Tree Week". The celebration took place on Wednesday, 5 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH in the outer yard opposite building “E” under the name “Togther let’s Understand its Generosity[U1] ”, in the presence of Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, the Dean of University Studies and her Vice-Deans, Dr. Fareeda Al-Ghamdi and Dr. Sheikha Ashour.
The College, in cooperation with its employees, prepared a table of a variety of vegetables, fruits and flowers presented in creative ways. The assigned employees of the college explained the benefits of these displayed vegetables and fruits to everyone. The employees were: (Ms. Amal Turkistani, Ms. Nada Hikmi, Dr. Molla, Ms. Fawz Al-Omairi, Ms. Hanan Bishara, Ms. Rana Bitar, Ms. Samah Baha, Ms. Samira Al-Sobhi, And Ms. Lou’lou’a Hamidi). The participation of the college was met with everybody’s admiration.
As the event came to a close, plants and flowers were planted in the yard with the help of the attendees.
