The Deanship of Scientific Research in collaboration with the College of Computer and Information System organized a workshop titled: "Introduction of the Internal Grant Programs Baheth- Waeda, Raed and their admission mechanism", during the third session of the internal grants in the period from Rabi Al-Thani 6, 1439 H until Jumada Al-Awal 11, 1439 H.   

The workshop was prepared and presented by the Deputy Head of the Applied Sciences Research Center and the Supervisor of Waeda Program Dr. Hanadi bint Ahmed Katoua. The workshop took place at the Lab 5 of the College of Computer and Information System on Sunday Rabi Al-Thani 20, 1439 H. The presentation started in the following sequence; introducing the Vice-Deanship for Research Scholarships and Projects, introducing internal grants programs, explaining conditions, forms, and files required to be submitted and then introducing the admission mechanism via the e-portal of the internal grants administration system. At the conclusion of the workshop, all queries of the attendees were answered.

The workshop was attended by the Deputy Head of Computer Department Mrs. Hadeel Al-Ahmadi and a number of female faculty members in the college and a number of female faculty members from the deanship of preparatory year.  The workshop witnessed also the participation of the Vice Dean of Scientific Research for Quality, Development and Academic Accreditation and the Deputy Head of the Engineering Science and Architecture Research Center and the Supervisor of external grants, Dr. Noora Farouqi. All the participants lauded organization of such workshops for their achieved benefits.
