Under the auspices of Dr. Hashem bin Ahmed Al-Samadani, the Dean of the Deanship of Registration and Admission; the Vice Deanship for Registration Affairs represented by the Department of Results - girls section organized a number of mobile training workshops that aim at:
1- Explaining the procedures of remarking results and the visiting student.
2- Explaining the common mistakes in filling the forms of these procedures, and therefore reducing the consumed time to implement such.
3- Increasing the awareness of the importance of abiding by the laws and regulations related to these procedures.
Three workshops were held daily for two weeks, starting from Monday, Rabi’ II 1, to Wednesday, Rabi’ II 16.
It is worth mentioning that these mobile workshops are being held for the first time at the university. They were well-received by the academic department they visited. The beneficiaries praised the importance and benefits of the workshops, as they did not take much time. The workshops also target the concerned groups in their daily working places. They were met by interesting reactions and the majority asked for re-holding such events.
Through evaluating the experience of holding these mobile workshops, the following recommendations were concluded:
1- The importance of making a guidebook for the procedures of remarking results and the visiting student on the deanship’s website.
2- The importance of re-holding these workshops for different categories that include larger number of teaching staff members at the departments.
The workshop’s team, represented by Dr. Tahani bint Mohamed Al-Subait, the Vice Dean of the deanship for the registration Affairs, and the employees of the Department of Results met to discuss the enhancement opportunities. The team celebrated such an accomplishment, asking God to help them re-holding these mobile workshops during the upcoming semesters.
May Allah grant success.
