Special Education Department Holds Several Training Courses on the Occasion of the International Day of Disabled Persons

With the approval of the Dean of Education, the Special Education Department held several training courses in all fields of the department during the period extending from 15 Rabia Al-Awal 1439AH to 24 Rabia Al-Awal 1439AH. The number of beneficiaries of the courses reached 128 students in all fields of the department. The number of trainees in the Developed Applications Courses in the field of Education Difficulties reached 23, while the number of trainees in the course of Designing a Computerized Unit in the field of Special education using multimedia reached 14. In the course “Light on Autism” about 24 trainees participated, while in the course of the Basics of Sign Language, the number of trainees reached 27. As for the course to deal with special needs individuals, 14 trainees participated, and 26 trainees participated in the Non-formal Assessment course in the field of mental disability.

As the end of the courses, students were granted attendance certificates, while thanks, certificates were given to the members who implemented the course. Special thanks were extended to the Training Courses Center for its cooperation with the department.
