Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Ashshi and Dean of Institute of Consulting Research and Studies have signed a memorandum of understanding. The Continuing Medical Education Unit represented the college in the agreement.
Under the deal, a number of professional training courses would be available for practitioners at different fields of study to improve the health services at different facilities and to tranform experiences from the college to the health sectors.
The signing ceremony was attended by College's Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies Dr. Mohamed Ba-Salama, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ayman Al Sayegh, Vice-Dean for Development and Community Service, head of Laboratory Medicine, Head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim and head of the Media Committee Dr. Mohamed Al Kurbi. Representing the institute, Vice-Dean for Professional Support Dr. Suhail Wahib and Vice-Dean for Development Dr. Raed Shalwala attended the signing.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Ashshi reiterated the importance of the MoU, saying it reflects the college's keenness on boosting cooperation and maintaining full integration with the university's departments. He renewed support to the training programs which are meant to improve health services in Makkah.
