Within the framework of the administrative development programs for the employees of Shari'a and Islamic Studies College, the college held a workshop titled: "The Role of Female Employees in Achieving KSA's Vision 2030" on Thursday 5 Rabia al-awal 1439AH at the meetings hall in the college. The workshop was presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Khaireya Hawsawi, the Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs and Development, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Haila Al-Solaimy, and the staff of the college.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about Vision 2030 amongst the college staff regarding their role as employees in UQU and as individuals in society, as well as about the contribution of the college employees in achieving the goals and initiatives of Vision 2030.
The three aspects on which the vision is based, as well as the extent of their integration and consistency, were clarified by both doctors. The aspects of "ambitious country" and "active society" were also explained, alongside with the importance of the role of female employees and their contribution to achieving these two aspects. the National Transformation Program 2020 and its goals were also explained in a simplified manner. The two doctors explained the goals of the strategic vision and the procedures adopted to make Saudi Arabia one of the world's best countries in terms of effective government performance to serve citizens.
The workshop included some entertainment through contests held and questions asked to employees to test their knowledge of the vision. It also included the distribution of some souvenirs. In addition, Dr. Haila Al-Solaimy, the Acting Vice Dean, and Dr. Ibtisam Al-Qorani, the Assistant Director of the College, as well as Dr. Khaireya Hawasi, were all thanked for their efforts in the workshop. The College Assistant Director has announced holding a contest for employees named "Innovative Employee Towards an Active Society" as part of the workshop's outputs and encouraging employees to participate with creative actions in their administrative work that impact the university community. The results of the contest will be announced at the end of every academic year.
