Represented by the Department of Physics, and supervised by Ms. Leila Al-Sheikhy, the University College in Qunfudha (Girls Section) took the initiative to honor the Qunfudha colleges’ female employees from the families of martyrs.

The initiative, which was launched on Wednesday, 5th Safar 1439H, stemmed from the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which could be translated as, “The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and affection is that of the body. When one limb of it complains, the rest of the body reacts with sleeplessness and fever. ”

In this context, the initiative was followed up by Dr. Nowair Ba-Jaber, Vice-Dean of the University College in Qunfudha. It was also attended by the vice-deans of the College, the Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine, managers of the administrative units, as well as a number of staff members and employees.

The program started with a breath-taking Qur’anic recitation followed by the speech of Dr. Nowair Ba-Jaber. This was also followed by presentations that included the efforts of the fighters in the Southern Border.

During the program, valuable gifts, pamphlets and buffet breakfasts were offered to the honorees. Therefore, such initiative impressed them.

Within this framework, we supplicate that Allah, the Almighty, will accept the martyrs and render the Paradise their eternal abode. May Allah, the Almighty, bless them and their families; may He grant their families patience and fortitude; may He save the leaders of our homeland; may He save and support our soldiers who are fighting in the Way of Allah; may He grant them victory!

On the other hand, Dr. Yaseen Al-Zubeidy, Dean of the College, appreciated such a fraternal initiative.
