The University College in Jamoum has always been seeking to fulfill its national role in promoting the concepts of community service and sustainable development, by harnessing all its resources to serve the community of Jamoum. Thus, the Arabic Language Department organized two training courses for the staff of Jamoum Police. The first course was titled, "Formulation of Letters and Editing of Correspondence," held on Wednesday 12^th Safar 1439H and presented by Dr. Muhammad Uwais from the Department of Arabic Language. The second course was titled, “Fundamentals and Art of Public Speaking,” held on Monday 17^th Safar 1439H and presented by Prof. Dr. Sa’eed Al-Nouty from the Department of Arabic Language.   

The meeting was honored with the attendance of Dr. Tawfeeq Al-Sharif (Dean of the College), Dr. Abdulmalek Al-Saktawy (Vice-Dean of the College for Development and Quality) and Dr. Omar Al-Maleki (Head of the Arabic Department and Vice-Dean of the College).

At the beginning of each course, the Dean of the College welcomed the participants in such courses which contributed to the development of communication skills with society. He also promised to provide more of such courses soon, God Willing! At the end of each course, certificates of attendance were distributed to participants who expressed their happiness with the services offered by the College to develop their personal and functional skills.
