Physical Education Department, under the supervision and with the participation of Dr. Tawfik Al-Bakri, Head of the department, organized a badminton tournament for the department’s staff members. The tournament was organized and managed by the department students.

The students’ organization, execution and direction was highly professional and showed a good preparation. As regards the staff member participation, it was pleasant and positive, which was reflected through the matches that resulted in Dr. Mohammed Nessim Jann’s winning the championship. The department will hold many competitions in other sports, such as ping pong, squash and football for both staff members and students.

These activities reflect the academic communication and link between the staff members and the students of the department, aiming to refine and develop their practical experiences, personal and leadership preparedness for work in the field of physical education, which is a message the department seeks to fulfill.

The department also expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the students for the efforts they extended and their excellent preparation. It also congratulates Dr. Mohammed Nessim for winning the championship, wishing the best to all in their positive practice of competitive and recreational sports.
