Attaching a great importance to raising awareness of research centers' scholarship regulations, the Center of Applied Sciences Research for Groups and Research Centers Affairs organized two events on Tuesday, 4/2/1439, and Thursday, 6/2/1439 H at Al-Zahir campus. The events aim to introduce regulations of research center scholarships and encourage faculty members to form research teams and present research project proposals.

The Deputy-head of the center, Dr. Hanadi bint Ahmed Katouah, talked about research center scholarships and its three main programs: emergency projects, strategic and national projects, and projects answer the needs of the deanship. 

Katouah detailed the requirements of research team leader, beneficiaries, funders, maximum researches allowed, budget and timeline. 

She answered all questions received from attendance and stressed the importance of knowledge economy. 

In conclusion, she extended thanks to the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ghalib Al-Ahdal, and the Vice-dean for Groups and Research Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohamed bin Hasan Mukhtar for their attention and support to research centers in respect of scholarship regulations.

Additionally, she thanked the Vice-dean of Applied Sciences, Dr. Ragaa bint Taher Matouq for attending the event and encouraging college departments to apply for research center scholarships. She also thanked deputy-heads and faculty members.
