Dr. Khalid Ibrahim conducted a scientific seminar on Tuesday 2/4/1439H. attended by Dr. Jabir Al Zahrany, Dean of College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudah; Dr. Hasan Al Zubaidy, Vice-Dean and Head of Scientific Research Committee; Dr. Al Mukhalid,Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs; in addition to Head of Engineering and Construction department, and head of Industrial Engineering Department, and a number of teaching staff members at the college. 

The seminar was entitled "Replacing the Partial Sand in Mortar with Glass Waste Powder".

Dr. Khalid Ibrahim demonstrated the scientific percentages of the glass waste used in mortar which gives more resistance to the pressure for the mortar as a substitute for the sand used in mortar. 

At the end of the presentation the College Dean, vice-deans and the attendants paid their thanks for Dr. Khalid Ibrahim for the qualitative research that contributes in employing moder scientific methods in making mortar.
