On Wednesday, 28th Muharram, 1439 H, a mission from the Malaysian Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) visited the UQU Deanship of Scientific Research to discuss research collaboration and co-research financing from domestic or foreign organizations from Malaysia, KSA, or other countries.
UTP's Dr. Mohamed Nofal and Dr. Khairil Asamdi met with UQU's Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ghalib Al-Ahdal, Vice-dean of Information and Publication, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Baz, Dean of Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Mouwafaq Eriga, Vice-dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Shady Manshy, Vice-dean of Institute of Research and Consultation Studies for Development and Business Execution, Dr. Raed Shalwala, and a number of UQU researchers.
Representatives from female student's branch were also present, including: Dean of Scientific Research for Quality, Development and Academic Accreditation, Dr. Hanadi Behairi, Deputy-head of Engineering Research Center, Dr. Nora Farouqy, Vice-dean of College of Computers, Dr. Ayesha Al-Siyamai, Deputy-head of Computer Science division, Dr. Manal Al-Harbi, Deputy-head of Informatics, Dr. Alaa Al-Milbiari, and a number of researchers and faculty members.
Meeting revolved around engineering, computer, innovation, invention and commercial transformation topics. Each side viewed the other's research work for potential cooperation.
