Bacterio Art, the creativity in laboratory medicine exhibition, organized by the College of Applied Medical Sciences’ Laboratory Medicine Department, was held on Thursday 22 Muḥarram 1439 AH, and attended by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Ashi, the college dean, along with the college vice-deans, the faculty members, and administrative officials.
During the exhibition, the m/f students showcased their creative works inspired by their disciplines. Furthermore, the winners of Bacterio Art Competition were announced and honored by the college administration.
This exhibition comes within the permanent encouragement by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Ashi, the college dean, and Dr. Naeem bin Fawzi Qusty, head of Laboratory Medicine Department, to their dear students for their constant creativity; strengthening their academic information, and helping them gain new skills that qualify them to be good ambassadors for the Applied Medical Sciences College throughout their academic and professional lives.
The Winners:
First place: Wegdan Bakary for a robot imitates the method of planting bacteria in its environment
Second place: Shaza Ishan for paintings in graphite script
Third Place: Arij Rawah for a group of paintings related to the miraculous side in the HolyQuran and Sunnah in the course (Micrbiology).
