Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Assas, UQU President, inaugurated the initiative entitled "Developing Sources and Human Skills in Scientific Research" which is one of the winning initiatives in National Transformation Program. The initiative was introduced by Scientific research deanship at th end of the previous academic year. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan al-Harbi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; Dr. Abdurrahman Al Ahdal, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; Dr. Faisal Barwis, Vice-Dean of Scientific Research Deanship; Dr. Mohamed Mohktar, Vice-President of Scientific Research Deanship of Research Groups and Centers.
It is noteworthy that the initiative includes launching a package of training courses on scientific research basics and technologies with a focus on developing new researchers and post graduate students skills.

* Scientific Research Consultant Program. The program consists of 18 training hours on the standards of choosing e-journals and ways of displaying researcher identity on electronic pages or providing specialized consultations on scientific research.

* New Researchers Preparation Program. The program consists of 15 training hours on qualifying the recent PHD holders to continue their researching course and to get support through writing research suggestions with high quality.

* Scientific Research Technologies Program. The program consists of 12 training hours for female students on modern technologies in managing research teams. The program deals with such technologies practically.

* Volunteering Research Program. The program consists of 12 training hours on spreading volunteering culture and discuss research priorities of the volunteering researches in Saudi Arabia.
